Ragging-evil or good?

Our grown up lads who are preparing themselves to go to colleges faces a common problem called #ragging . To first understand why children faces ragging we need to clear out What is "ragging"?

It is the term used for the so-called "initiation ritual" practiced in higher education institutions in South Asian countries . Ragging involves abuse, humiliation or harassment of new entrants or junior students by the senior students. It often takes a malignant form wherein the newcomers may be subjected to psychological or physical torture .

It's really very abusive when even girls are not to left from hands of vile works.

The senior students enjoy the sadness of the freshers.....they often do these stuffs to satisfy their self egoes,,,to make others suffer in the way they had suffered....

such an act is really a menace in ones life.

But

do u all know this ragging which was developed in western countries was to make the juniors comfortable with the seniors so that interactions between them boost up and they dont face any problem in the new world. Just a means to tease the juniors...obviously none will feel so low if they are said to sing a song or imitate someone,,,,but continuous ragging often turned to be vile.

Girls who are new are ragged not only by senior ladies but also by senior #boys....

Some very clingy works are given to them by girls group like opening their dresses , polishing shoes , slapping etc. and by boys....singing till their hunger is not satisfied , dancing with them etc etc.... often junior boys are beaten up....clothes drenched purposely etc.

we can say it as good if we see the perspective that it makes the junior mature enough to face the later problems and evil in the sense when it comes to hurt the self dignity and respect of anyone.....
